Description

Beautifully carved wooden cuckoo clock which celebrates the heritage of the Black Forest. The clock features a carved Clockpedlar (Uhrentraeger) who is renowned for carving the cuckoo clocks during the long Winters and then selling his clocks throughout the villages once the Spring arrived. There is also a carved Black Forest woman wearing a traditional Dirndl and Bollenhut. The cuckoo calls on the hour and half hour as do the musical tunes of Edelweiss and the Happy Wanderer play on the swiss Reuge music box.
8 day musical cuckoo clock which means the weights need to be pulled up every 8 days.
