Beautifully carved wooden 8 day cuckoo clock which celebrates the farming life in the Black Forest. The clock features carved horses and loggerman pulling the logs through the forest. The clock also features a belltower on top of the clock which was often used to call the farmers in for lunch, or announce certain events happening in the village.
This is an 8 day mechanical cuckoo clock which means the weights need to be pulled up every 8 days. The cuckoo calls on the hour and half hour
