Description
The Vikings are said to have discovered North America.
According to legend, Leif Eriksson landed in Greenland about 1,000 years ago.
A few years later, they traveled further west and set foot on the beaches of present-day Canada.
In honor of these fearless seafarers, here’s a three-themed mug:
– A Viking warrior (Leif Eriksson, son of Erik the Red) with a silver helmet.
– To the left a Viking ship on a stormy sea, with a sailor looking out for safe land.
– To the right a Viking ship in calm waters, leaving a green country behind and sailing east towards home.
A war shield and the banner “Viking”, as well as the side motifs are framed by Norse symbols.
