Building tracks through countries and bridging valleys and bodies of water posed unusual challenges and is a testament to the spirit of discovery, courage and engineering skills.

Many people were gripped by the pioneer spirit, left home and farm and took on the hardships of field camps and hard labour.

The production of a beer mug certainly requires significantly less physical effort, but here too, concentration and care must be taken throughout the entire manufacturing process so that an outstanding handcrafted product is created in the end.

After work, enjoy a cool drink from a handmade and hand-painted beer mug from the Westerwald!

Fully wrapped in colour, hand-painted motif, train chimney handle, encircling railroad track with under glaze color wash and a three dimensional lokomotiv cast of genuine pewter on the top of the lid.
