Description
The Immanuel Blue No. 20. What can we say, but this is an extraordinary clock!ย It is a Gothic clock moved by a steel spring and it’s regulation is carried our bu the ‘foilot’, which is a stick with small counter weights.ย This is not a copy of any original design, but has the same workings as Gothic cloths, with identical mechanical systems and materials (iron, brass, steel and wood), using the same techniques as the time.
What makes this clock so unique is the way in which it displays the time.ย One of the oldest systems used, it has a moving dial, instead of moving hands and the dial moves anti-clockwise, with a fixed hand at the top.ย This clock operates for 10 -12 hours and then requires winding.
