Wholesale Trading Terms and Conditions of Sale

General
• German Cuckoo Clock Nest Pty Ltd reserves the right to accept or refuse any order for goods at its discretion.
• All wholesale prices on www.clocks.com.au are quoted in Australian dollars and are exclusive of GST.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.
• Special orders may incur additional import/freight charges.

Account Terms
• Each order should be a MINIMUM of $500.00 plus GST and freight.
• Customer’s first three orders are pro-forma invoice and pre-payment.
• A 30 day credit account can be established once a satisfactory credit application is submitted and approved for shop-front retailers only.
• German Cuckoo Clock Nest Pty Ltd reserves the right to accept or refuse a credit application.

Delivery Cost
• Freight costs will be calculated and added to your invoice as per order size and delivery location. .
Property
• All delivered goods remain the property of GCCN until full payment has been received.
• The Goods shall be at the sole risk of the Customer on the Customer’s receipt of those Goods.

Credit Claims
• All claims must be communicated back to GCCN in writing within 7 days of receipt of delivery. Email: info@clocks.com.au
• No returns without authorisation.
• Goods being returned for credit must have been purchased from GCCN, and are in an unused and saleable condition together with original packaging within 14 days of purchase.
• GCCN may charge a 20% restocking fee for returned goods.
• Postage costs to and from the repairer are payable by the customer.

Refund Policy
• If GCCN deems a product faulty and has been purchased within 12 months, as per date of invoice, GCCN will refund the customer the purchase price.
• GCCN may request the return of faulty goods before providing refund.

Notification of Changes
• The Customer agrees to notify GCCN within 7 days of any changes to: the address of the business or the address where the Goods will be situated; the trading name or ABN of the business; or the persons (Proprietors, Partners or Directors) conducting the business.

• GCCN reserves the right to request that a new Application for a Wholesale Account to be completed on notification of such a change.

Payment
• All Invoices on Accounts are payable in full within 30 days of receiving Stock.
• Accepted methods of payment include credit card (visa & MasterCard) and direct deposit.
• Goods will not be supplied to overdue accounts until such time as the account is brought up to date.
• GCCN reserves the right to withhold future supply of goods or withdraw supply of goods on credit if the customer is not in accordance with Trading terms.
• GCCN reserves the right to charge interest on overdue accounts as well as all collection costs and Solicitors fees in recovering any late payment of this account.

Interpretation In these terms and conditions, unless contrary to the context:
• “Customer” means and includes any natural person, company, partnership or other entity whose order for the purchase of Goods is accepted by GCCN; “Goods” means and includes goods and services supplied or to be supplied to the Customer by GCCN;
• “GCCN” means German Cuckoo Clock Nest Pty Ltd ABN 46 064 536 349 or any of its subsidiary or related companies.

Shipping

Shipping on all orders over $199 is free within Australia unless mentioned otherwise. International orders will be subject to additional shipping costs.
Our team processes each order with a trusty and consistent procedure. Each clock is tested and carefully packaged with an inner and outer box before a prompt dispatch from the Nest to ensure a safety arrival to it’s new home.

 

Domestic:

 

International:
We ship orders internationally, however additional shipping charges will apply. Shipping is calculated after the order has been received, the customer is then invoiced and the order is shipped once payment is received.

Warranty

GCCN offers a two year warranty on all mechanical clocks, 1 year warranty on quartz clocks and varied warranty periods on watches as per the product listing.

Our Warranty covers any defects in materials used to manufacture the product; any defects in workmanship under normal use and any broken components under normal use.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Our obligation under this Clock warranty is to repair or replace the product at no cost, if the product is still under warranty. We have a repair workshop on the premises, complete with a ‘quick fix’ procedure for any items with issues under warranty. We will do our best to achieve a speedy return of your item asap.

The warranty is null and void if, the clock has been dropped, damaged, or in any way misused; or if the working parts have been tampered with in any way.

Warranty Procedure

If you have a problem with your product within the stated warranty period,  please send an email to info@clocks.com.au with photographs, a brief description of the issue and a copy of the receipt or proof of purchase.

We will provide you with an address to return the product.  It is the customer’s responsibility to safely return the product with adequate packaging. Postage of products to and from the repairer is payable by the customer.

Once we have received the item, our technicians will assess the problem and find a resolution to ensure a speedy return of the item to the owner.
