The “S” in the Chronograph III S stands for Schaltrad—German for column wheel—referring to the exceptional chronograph mechanism at the heart of the watch. Considered one of the most refined and precise chronograph constructions in haute horlogerie, the column wheel movement is highly prized by watch enthusiasts and collectors alike. This distinguished feature is subtly acknowledged by the Schaltrad inscription positioned at 6 o’clock on the dial.

At its core beats the in-house Erwin Sattler calibre ES 04S, a self-winding automatic movement offering an impressive power reserve of approximately 55 hours. Characteristic of a traditional chronograph, the elegantly integrated pushers located above and below the crown enable precise timing measurements of up to 12 hours. Together with the finely crafted steel hands, they ensure both intuitive operation and exceptional legibility.

The striking ultramarine blue dial, inspired by one of history’s most treasured and captivating colours, features recessed totalisers that add depth and sophistication to the watch’s appearance.
