Description
1972 Competition FIS Edition Trondheim Automatic
Description
A striking timepiece that fuses performance with distinctive style, this model features Junghans’ renowned oval case design paired with rich maritime details. Powered by the automatic J880.5 movement, it offers reliable precision and a 48-hour power reserve, making it as functional as it is eye-catching. The silver dial shimmers with a sunburst finish and transparent snowflake print, accented by a Norwegian flag at 6 o’clock—a nod to nautical heritage.
Chronograph functionality includes a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock, small seconds at 6, and a stop second feature for accurate timing. A tachymeter scale in deep blue, luminous minute track, and anti-reflective sapphire crystal on both sides ensure clarity in all conditions. Robust yet refined, the stainless steel case is secured with a screw-down crown and an edition-engraved, four-fold screwed case back.
Completing the design is a dark blue leather strap with black lining and grey perforation, fitted with a stainless steel inlay and folding clasp for comfort and security.
